It is soon time to wrap-up the year 2022 and say hi to the new year 2023. To reflect on the multitude of activities and impact created by the Finnish water sector, Finnish Water Forum (FWF) welcomes its members and partners to join the annual Glögg Event for Members on 21st December (Annankatu 26, Helsinki) with warming refreshments and talks, hosted by Mr. Topi Helle, Managing Director of Finnish Water Forum.

For FWF, 2022 has been a year where the Russian attack on Ukraine and the omnipresent aftermath of covid pandemic have reminded us of the importance of international resilience. With an active participation from Finnish Water Forum members, the joint ambition of Finnish water sector to work together towards a more water-secure world has shown at this year’s major events such as Dubai Expo, Stockholm World Water Week 2022, IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2022 in Copenhagen as well as by several delegation visits taking place around the world.

Looking beyond, the upcoming UN 2023 Water Conference is a long due opportunity to galvanize water action that cannot be wasted. The accelerated ambition and improved impact of water actions that can be scaled and replicated towards achieving water-related goals and targets must be delivered across all sectors, industries, and stakeholders. At this annual Glögg Event, we invite the multitude of water professionals from our various member organizations to look ahead together and see what 2023 has to offer.
