We’re building a joint network of Indian, EU and Nordic water actors

The Indo Nordic EU Water Forum (INWF) acts as a joint network and platform for the private and public sector in India and the EU, complying with existing EU standards and applying water expertise to address challenges facing the Indian water sector. INWF supports the EU-India Strategic Partnership which was jointly declared at the EU-India Leader’s meeting in 2021. Through joining water actors the INEUWF contributes to the achieving of the strategic partnership goals such as scaling up of cooperation on water management in the framework of the EU-India Water Partnership, tackling water pollution and the addressing of water challenges in the context of climate change. Together, the targets will contribute to the attainment of the water-related Sustainable Development Goal 6 of the Paris Agreement. INEUWF was developed under the SPRING project under the EU Horizon 2020 program. Read more about our work at www.inwf.in

SPRING Project

The building phase of INWF is funded by the SPRING  project  (Strategic Planning for Water Resources and Implementation of Novel Biotechnical Treatment Solutions and Good Practices). SPRING is jointly funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme and the Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India. It is one of seven projects funded by the EU under the India-EU Water Projects on Research and Innovation initiative.
